BE A FORCE FOR CHILDREN’S MENTAL HEALTH
YOUTH VIDEO CONTEST FOR 
NATIONAL CHILDREN'S MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS DAY: MAY 4, 2017

In recognition of May 4, 2017 as National Children's Mental Health Awareness Day, youth 18 and under were challenged to address the issue of mental health awareness by creating a short video to explore issues such as preventing bullying, reducing discrimination, and ending stigma against people with mental health issues.
 
This year's contests was a GREAT success! We received 22 entries from Clark County and while judging was tough, CCCMHC selected the following videos as finalists:

The winning video will be screened immediately before the Movie Matinee showing of "SING."

Paseo Verde Library

The winning video will be screened during Teen Time (ages 10-17) at a showing of "GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY." The movie will be shown in the Paseo Verde Library Conference Room.

May 13, 2017

1:00pm

Windmill Library

The winning video will be shown during the Saturday Movie Matinee, featuring the film, "ROGUE ONE." The movie will be shown in the Windmill Library Auditorium. 

May 16, 2017

6:00pm

Paseo Verde Library

The winning video will be shown during Picnic & a Movie, featuring the film, "SING." Bring your pick dinner and enjoy the movie!

May 22, 2017

4:30pm

West Charleston Library

The winning video will be shown during the Monday Afternoon Movie for Kids (ages 0-11), featuring the film, "SING." The movie will be shown in the Lecture Hall. 

May 27, 2017

1:00pm

Windmill Library

The winning video will be shown during the Saturday Movie Matinee, featuring the film, "FENCES." The movie will be shown in the Windmill Library Auditorium. 

All month long!

Spring Valley Library

The winning video will be available for viewing all month in the Community Room!
